The last thing we want is for this sensitivity to interfere with your routine dental care!<\/p>\n<h2>Remedies for Sensitive Teeth<\/h2>\n<p>Here we\u2019ve put together a few at-home remedies for sensitive teeth.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use a soft-bristled toothbrush \u2013 softer and more flexible bristles on your toothbrush will not irritate your gums and exposed roots as much as tougher bristles.<\/li>\n<li>Try using toothpaste for sensitive teeth \u2013 there are many toothpaste options on the market today that are designed specifically to desensitize teeth while brushing.<\/li>\n<li>Rinse with warm water \u2013 temperature change is one of the most common triggers of tooth sensitivity. After brushing, rinse your mouth with warm water to avoid that potentially painful stab of sensitivity.<\/li>\n<li>Eliminate whitening\/bleaching products from your routine \u2013 the active ingredients in teeth whitening products can trigger tooth sensitivity, and if used improperly, can do irreparable damage to your tooth enamel.<\/li>\n<li>Swap your regular mouthwash with a fluoride rinse \u2013 a fluoride rinse will help to decrease the sensitivity and protect your enamel from further damage.<\/li>\n<li>Cut back on acidic drinks \u2013 acidic drinks, such as coffee, tea, soda, and juice are a huge culprit of tooth enamel erosion.
